Conductive Masterbatch For PET

PET conductive masterbatch uses separate feeding technology to add conductive carbon black (CB) or CNT to the polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/polyethylene (PE) blend, and passes it through the buss reciprocating pulsating extruder melt blending, extrusion granulation, and fiber-grade PET conductive masterbatch with better comprehensive properties were prepared. The study found that using PET/PE incompatible blends instead of PET as the matrix resin of the masterbatch can achieve a lower cost. The amount of CB achieves better electrical conductivity; when the proportion of carbon is 15%, the volume resistivity of the masterbatch first decreases and then increases with the increase in the amount of PET. When the mass ratio of PET to PE is 60:40 , the volume resistivity of the masterbatch is the lowest. As the CB content increases, the flow properties of the CB/PET melt become worse; during the composite spinning process, as the CB content in the PET conductive masterbatch increases, the spinning temperature and spinning temperature decrease. The wire pressure should also be increased accordingly; the conductive performance of the conductive fiber increases as the CB mass fraction in the CB/PET conductive masterbatch increases; as the draft ratio increases, the conductive performance of the conductive fiber decreases, and the optimal draw of the conductive fiber The elongation ratio is 1.5.

 

 

Characteristics of PET conductive masterbatch:

  1. High conductivity: PET conductive masterbatch has excellent conductive properties.   4. Plasticity: PET graphene conductive sheet has good plasticity. PET material itself has good plasticity, and after adding graphene, the plasticity of the conductive sheet is further enhanced. This enables PET graphene conductive sheets to adapt to various complex shapes and curved surfaces, and has a wide range of applications.
