Description

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon 66 introduction

PA66 MC205 is one of carbon fiber reinforced nylon series which is 20% carbon fiber filled.

INCHR@carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound has excellent wear resistance, self-lubricating properties and high mechanical strength. However, it is more water absorbent and therefore has poor dimensional stability.

INCHR@carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound can maintain strong strength and stiffness at higher temperatures. This carbon fiber reinforced polymer is still hygroscopic after molding, the degree of which mainly depends on the composition of the material, wall thickness and environmental conditions.

INCHR@Carbon fiber reinforced plastics can be divided into injection molding grade and extrusion grade according to the processing technology. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic injection molding grade is designed for injection molds. Carbon fiber plastic injection molding pellets are injected into the mold, and formed products are obtained after cooling and solidification. The carbon fiber reinforced nylon extrusion grade is heated and melted by the extruder, and then extruded into products of various shapes, such as 3D printing filaments, pipes, rods, plates, etc.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon 66 Features

Carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound has the characteristics of high strength, high rigidity and high toughness. It is a new material with excellent mechanical properties.

Carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound has the characteristics of light weight, high tensile strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, etc. Compared with glass fiber, the modulus is 3 to 5 times higher, so it is a nylon with high rigidity and high strength. Excellent reinforcement for materials. Carbon fiber reinforced nylon can be divided into two categories: long (continuous) fiber reinforcement and short fiber reinforcement.

The friction coefficient and wear amount of carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound decrease as the load increases, the creep at high temperature is small, the thermal stability is significantly improved, the dimensional accuracy is good, the wear resistance and damping are excellent, and it has better overall performance.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon 66 Applications

Carbon fiber reinforced nylon compound has excellent properties of replacing metal, is light, high-tough, and easy to process. Its application range covers a wide range of fields, such as components in the automotive industry, electronic appliances, automobiles, communications, medical equipment, mine safety, and used in explosion-proof products. Shells and structural parts, as well as semi-conductive shielding materials used in medium and high voltage cables.
