Carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate(PC) properties
PC 205A is reinforced carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic pellet which is a composite material composed of 20% carbon fiber and polycarbonate resin.15% to 30% carbon fiber reinforced pellets are available.
This carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic has high strength, high elastic coefficient, high impact strength, good fatigue resistance, dimensional stability and small creep (little change even under high temperature conditions).Carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate(PC) has a wide operating temperature range, the temperature index after reinforcement can reach 120~140℃, and has good aging performance under long-term outdoor use.Solvent resistance shows that carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate(PC) will not suffer from stress cracking due to solvents.Comparing epoxy resin and metal materials, carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic features small friction coefficient, good thermal conductivity and heat resistance, and not prone to resonance or chatter. It is an excellent material for shock absorption and noise reduction.
